A Taste Of English School Life

On Thursday the lads following the English option here on the course had the fantastic opportunity to mix with English school students, at the local secondary school near the Reebok stadium.

As part of the programme it is important that the students experience every aspect of English life, so being invited to the local school was a perfect opportunity to do that.

The day started with a welcome by the head of languages then a meet and greet with the local students. They spent some time getting to know each other, then it was into lessons.

the morning lessons included a food technology lesson, where even Ebrahim got stuck into the cooking.

A great day was had by all, and all the lads found the experience a worth while activity.

Eccles College 3 - 2 Edukick England

Not a great day trip out in the new kit to Eccles College. Once again the team went down by one goal after dominating the game throughout. In a tough and physical game they should have come out on top. James Ward, course leader and coach is still amazed at the result after they were on top for most of the game, and the statistics show much more position, attacking plays and entries into the opponent area.

Lot's to work on tomorrow in the double training session.

The cold winter has set in now here in Bolton, maybe that had an effect on the lads today, the temperature only just reaching freezing at points today.

Bring on the next game.

New Strip For The Lads

A big thank you to the Rijo cafe for sponsoring the new playing kit for the lads, they showed it off today in the game at Eccles College.

Edukick Englands Blog kicks Off

Hi Everyone,
Finally we have the Edukick England Blog up and running, each week or as often as possible we can keep you updated on the progress of the students and players here in England. So far it's been a great start to the year with a group of fantastic lads who have already grown in maturity and ability whilst they have been here in England, can you believe it's only 3 weeks until Christmas break, and a well deserved break for everyone.
Each and every student has done extremely well and should be very proud of the work and effort they have put in, a few are now feeling the pace a little and are ready for the break, with a few little injuries creeping in.
Tomorrow we have a game against Eccles College, a local college who's students are all going throught the level one coaching badge course and have challenged us to a game. And as the lads step out onto the pitch they will be sporting the new kit, sponsored by the Rijo cafe from Bolton arena. As the lads have been so fantastic in and around the arena, and in the cafe the Rijo cafe have come on board as the kit sponsor for this year, so it's all change tomorrow, the lads will be out in Blue! Let's hope the new kit brings luck on the pitch.
last week the lads held a touring french team to a 0 - 0 draw at the arena, a very good result as we had watch these in training the day before and they were a very strong and organised team. The french team are still in Bolton and have challenge us to a re-match later this month, which the team are gearing up to put on a show.
Keep a check on this Blog for updates.
