Term Two - A cold welcome back

Everyone is back now and ready for the challenge of term two here in Bolton, and what a cold welcome back the got, not from the staff and host families you understand - as every it was a great warm welcome, but the fantastic UK weather showed the lads what it can do, with temperatures dropping to well below zero. Quite a shock for some of the lads returning after a Christmas on the beach down under!

The cold weather hasn't stopped as fast paced start to the term, James and Craig have had the boys working out in the gym and fitness sessions on the tennis courts, to work off the excess food eaten over the festive break.

With the snow still lying on the ground, on the Friday of week one, some the lads braved the cold conditions, took to the pitches with shovels and helped the arena to clear the first pitch so they could get out and play.

Now the snow has gone, it back to work and preparing for the first games next week.

With 24 players now, two squads and a high level of competition for spaces, this term looks to be the most exciting and energetic ever in Bolton. The A squad Kick off the year a week tomorrow with a game against Manchester Fire and rescue!
